Robert W. Collier

Mr. Collier (Owner and Head Assessor/Trainer) is a RAB Registered ISO 9000 Lead Auditor with an AIAG QS-9000 Lead Assessor license, and is trained as an ISO 14000, SA 8000, and AS 9100 Lead Assessor with Collier & Associates. He has performed first, second and third party audits, conducts Internal Auditor and Management Training, and works with a major ISO 9000 Registrar and various Consulting Organizations.

Mr. Collier has worked in the Quality field for the last 13 years within the Aerospace Industry, with several ISO 9000 Registrars and as an independent contractor. Mr. Collier's background includes: Supplier Audits for Rockwell Space Transportation Division on the Space Shuttle Program; Sole Internal Auditor on the Space Station Program for McDonnell Douglas Aerospace; Western Region ISO 9000 Manager for Hartford Steam Boiler Insurance and Inspection Company; Lead Assessor and independent contractor for the Western Region of SGS International Certification Services; and with various Consulting Organizations (Gap Assessments/training/consulting) in an effort to help small and medium sized companies improve and certify their Quality Assurance Systems, and train both employees and management in various quality subjects.

Collier & Associates was started in September 1996 as an independent auditing contractor, and has expanded to include consulting and training.

Mr. Collier has worked with companies in the aerospace, electronics, mechanical, basic metal working, food, chemical, plastics, pharmaceutical, automotive/truck and service industries.

Mr. Collier holds a BS Degree from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona, in Business Management, and an AS Degree in Data Processing from Mt. San Antonio College. He is a member of ASQC and of the Quality Audit Division. Mr. Collier undergoes constant training and attends various auditing & ISO 9000 conferences in order to maintain his current certification status.
